The Sons Of Jacob Word Search
In the Old Testament of the Bible, Jacob, the third Hebrew progenitor with whom God made a covenant, had twelve sons. These sons were born of his two wives Rachel and Leah and of their handmaidens, Bilhaha and Zilpah. These sons, named in Genesis, were Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin. They were born over twenty years from 1759 BCE to 1739BCE (Before the Common Era). The 12 sons of Jacob are the patriarchs of the 12 Tribes of Israel. The stories of Jacob's sons traveling to Egypt to purchase grain during the famine in Canaan, the imprisonment of Simeon, Josephs's time in Egypt, and his prophetic dreams are all crucial parts of Genisis.
