Just like air, the land can be polluted by people littering trash. Some people simply throw trash out of their windows when driving. Others litter while walking. Sometimes so much litter and trash will make the land look like a landfill. Occasionally, I see bags of trash lying on the side of the road where someone has just dumped it instead of taking it to the proper places. There are ways to keep the land beautiful. Street cleaners help by being hired to clean and sweep the street of the litter. Volunteer groups will volunteer their time to go around picking up trash on their time off. This helps remove the litter that pollutes the land.
