The Age of Jackson happened during the third, fourth, and fifth decades of the nineteenth century, and it is commonly referred to as the Age of Reform by some historians. Andrew Jackson was inaugurated in 1828, and it marked the beginning of the right of familiar people to pick a President. His victory proved to be advantageous as American wealth and economy grew tremendously. However, Jackson's Age also frustrated many people as he initiated an Indian removal policy and compelled all Native Americans to relocate west of the Mississippi River.
