Wilson Readin System Substep 3.2’s objective is to decode two closed syllables with more than three sounds in a syllable, know the syllable division rules, and spell multisyllabic words. A few syllable division rules are the following: For two consonants, use one consonant to close-in the first syllable; for two consonants, divide between two consonants and do not split-up diagraphs; for three consonants, if a word is a compound word, split between the two terms.
