The Trail of Tears movement was a part of the forced relocation of 100,000 native Americans between 1830 and 1850 by the United States government known as the Indian removal. Native Americans suffered various diseases, infections, starvation, and deaths during their relocation. Thousands and thousands of native Americans died shortly after from the inhabited diseases.
