It was a crossover spin-off/sequel series to both iCarly and Victorious, two shows on the same network that had previously come to a close. It would follow Sam Puckett and Cat Valentine (portrayed by Jenette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, respectively). When Sam rescues Cat from a grim fate in the back of a garbage truck, they meet by chance and end up becoming roommates when Cat’s grandmother moves into a retirement home – before starting a small after-school babysitting business to earn a little extra money.
